Vigilance Study Circle organises seminar in Kochi

The Vigilance Study Circle-Kerala organised a public seminar at Town Hall here on Saturday, in connection with the Vigilance Awareness Week.

KOCHI: The Vigilance Study Circle-Kerala organised a public seminar at Town Hall here on Saturday, in connection with the Vigilance Awareness Week.

The seminar was attended by around 200 officials and Vigilance functionaries of Central and State Government organisations. On the occasion, prizes were distributed to winners of the All-Kerala Annual Ethics Elocution Competition for college students.  At the national seminar on ‘Integrity in Public Life’ to be held at Vigyan Bhavan in New Delhi on November  7, ‘Ethics and Corruption - an Introduction,’ an educational book written by FACT chief vigilance officer J Vinayan, will be released by the Central Vigilance Commissioner.  

At Saturday’s function, BPCL chief vigilance manager K Narayanan welcomed the gathering, while J Vinayan presented the report .former DGP and Vigilance Study Circle patron M G A Ramen offered a felicitation.   A D Balasubramanian, vigilance officer at the Cochin Shipyard Limited, proposed a vote of thanks.
