KOCHI: R4Respect, an initiative by the final year journalism students of Amrita School of Arts and Sciences, was launched at the Sainik Ashram, Kakkanad, on Friday by celebrating Onam with the inmates. The campaign, with the motto 'celebrating old age,' is an initiative by a group of 18 youngsters who have set out to bring a change in society. Singer and actor Ranjini Jose officially launched the campaign. Amrita School of Arts and Science, Kochi, director U Krishnakumar and others participated. T K Bhaskaran, who fought in the World War-II, was honoured. Gifts were distributed by the guests and students.
