KOCHI: The Kerala State Productivity Council announced the winners of the Productivity Awards for the year 2016. The council instituted the awards to encourage the Industries and Services Organisations in the state for their effort to achieve higher productivity.
In Large-scale Industries category BPCL, Kochi Refinery, Ambalamugal, has bagged the Best Productivity Award while Cochin Shipyard Ltd has bagged second prize. In Medium Large Industries category, Tata Global Beverages Ltd, Pullivasal Packaging Centre from Munnar is first while United Breweries, Palakad is second. The Prima Plastics Ltd, Ernakulam, has won the Best Productivity Award, followed by Symega Flavours India (P)Ltd from Pancode, Kochi, in the second place in the Medium Scale Industries category.
