KOCHI: A Thanjavur native residing at Kottayam was on Friday arrested by the Ernakulam Central Police for allegedly selling fake lottery tickets here.
According to the police, Kennedy, 35, was printing fake lottery tickets carrying the serial number of the lottery tickets which had won prizes recently. He also runs a lottery agency at Chingavanam, near Kottayam. He used a colour printer and fake seals to print lottery tickets. These lotteries were allegedly sold in Kottayam and Pathanamthitta.
