KOCHI: A woman doctor of the Kothamangalam Taluk Government Hospital was allegedly assaulted by Kothamangalam-native Raju, 60, an accused in a ganja peddling case on the premises of the Kothamangalam Judicial First Class Magistrate Court on Monday.
The police said Raju allegedly manhandled Dr Sini Isaac while he was produced before the court around 11 am. “It is suspected the accused is not mentally stable.
The doctor who came to the court for giving statement in another case had just looked at him. This provoked him and he beat her up,” said a police officer.
