Good show by Kochi schools in CBSE Class XII examination

KOCHI: Leading schools in the city, including the Choice School, all the Bhavans schools, Rajagiri Public School and the Toc-H Public School, have recorded 100 per cent success in the CBSE Class-XII examinations, results of which were announced on Sunday.

At Bhavans Vidya Mandir, Elamakkara, of the 172 students who appeared for the exam, 123 passed with distinction and 43 in first class. At Bhavan’s Vidya Mandir, Girinagar, a total of 147 students appeared for the exam, of which 98 passed with distinction. At Bhavan’s Vidya Mandir, Eroor, 131 students passed with distinction out of the 194 students who appeared for the exam, and 59 students secured first class. Similarly, at Bhavan’s Adarsha Vidyalaya, Kakkanad, a total of 138 students appeared for the exam, of which 107 passed with distinction. At Bhavan’s Varuna Vidyalaya, Thrikkakkara, 79 out of the 93 students who appeared for the exam passed with distinction. At Bhavan’s Munshi Vidyashram, Thiruvankulam, of the 98 students who wrote the exam, 72 passed with distinction.

At Al-Ameen Public School, Edappally, of the 131 students who wrote the exam, 72 secured distinction. The school toppers are Farhana Muhammad Ibrahim Salim (96.4 per cent), Gowri Lakshmi D (96 per cent) and Firhana Suja (95.4 per cent).
At the Cochin Refineries School, a total of 70 students appeared for the exam in science stream, of which 53 passed with distinction and 17 in first class. With 486 marks (97.20 per cent), Kavya M emerged the topper in the school. In the commerce stream, a total of 28 students appeared for the exam, of which 24 passed with distinction.
Toc-H Public School, Vyttila, saw 100 per cent pass in the 29th year in succession. Of the 147 students who wrote the exam, 100 secured distinction. In the science group, Diya Thenu D is the school topper with 97.2 per cent marks. In the commerce group, Neena Teresa Varghese got the highest aggregate of 97.6 per cent.

The Delta Study School, which also secured 100 per cent pass, saw Rishi H Parekh and Diana Samuel emerging the toppers in science and commerce streams respectively. Out of the 59 students who wrote the exam, 27 secured distinction.
Assisi Vidyaniketan Public School saw 117 students securing distinction, out of the 150 students who appeared for the exam. Aimee A M (97.2 per cent) and T J Sneha Rose (94.8 per cent) are the toppers in the science and commerce streams respectively.
At Chinmaya Vidyalaya, Tripunithura, a total of 112 students appeared for the exam, of which 92 secured distinction. Unnikrishnan P V (97.8 per cent in science) and Jayaram K (96.6 per cent in commerce) are the toppers. The Chinmaya Vidyalaya, Vaduthala, saw 101 students getting distintion, out of the 124 students who appeared for exam.

At Rajagiri Public School, Kalamassery, 137 students, of the 142 appeared for the Class-XII exam, passed with distinction. A total of 35 students secured ‘A1’ in all subjects.
The Choice School saw 152 students, out of 168 students, getting distinction. Nevin Thomas Kochupurakal (97.6 per cent) topped in science stream, while Roshan Haris (97.6 per cent) emerged topper in the commerce stream.
At The Christu Jayanti School, Kakkanad, out of the 180 students who wrote the exam, 153 students secured distinction. A total of 26 students got ‘A1’ in all subjects. The school toppers are Abhijith Babu (science - 96.8 per cent), Rahul S Stephen (commerce - 97 per cent) and Anne Varsha John (humanities - 97.2 per cent).

The Campion School, Edappally, saw 72 students securing distinction, out of the 121 students who appeared for the exam. School toppers are Joseph Lukose (science - 98.4 per cent) and Sandra Maria (commerce - 94.4 per cent).
 Mar Thoma Public School, Kakkanad, saw 39 students securing distinction, out of the 97 students who appeared for the exam. Reshma Ann Daniel is the school topper.
At Nava Nirman Public School, Vazhakkala, out of the 55 students who wrote the exam, 35 secured distinction. The school toppers are Kiran Mammen Mathula (science - 95.8 per cent) and Aiswarya Suresh (commerce - 93 per cent).
At Greets Public School, Kaloor, a total of 32 students appeared for the exam, of which 14 secured distinction. The school toppers are CJ Alvin (science - 95.6 per cent) and Catherine Paul (commerce - 94.4 per cent).
