KOCHI: The Ernakulam Central Police on Tuesday arrested a Tamil Nadu native on charges of two-wheeler theft. Suresh, a native of Cumbum-Theni, was nabbed from a location near the Ernakulam KSRTC bus station.
He allegedly stole a two-wheeler, owned by Jijo George of Vaduthala, while it was parked in front of the Ernakulam Basilica Church on Monday noon. Acting on a complaint, the police team apprehended the accused within three hours. A follow-up investigation revealed Suresh is ‘wanted’ in several theft cases and had served jail terms.
