PG Course in Music inaugurated at Maharaja’s

 The Maharajas College witnessed a historic moment on Tuesday as Carnatic violin maestro Padma Bhushan T N Krishnan inaugurated the PG Course in Music.

KOCHI: The Maharajas College witnessed a historic moment on Tuesday as Carnatic violin maestro Padma Bhushan T N Krishnan inaugurated the PG Course in Music.“It is really wonderful to see this great college giving prominence to music. It is the responsibility of students to utilise these facilities and learn the art more,” he said inaugurating the new course. On behalf of MG University, Vice-Chancellor Babu Sebastian honoured T N Krishnan by draping a ponnada on him. Principal Hitha N also honoured the musician on behalf of the College.

Maharajas College governing council chairman P K Raveendran delivered the keynote address. “Let the college bring out great musical talents and contribute effectively to the music industry,” he said. It is with the continuous efforts of Babu Sebastian the college could begin the new course this year, MG University syndicate member M S Murali said.
