KOCHI: For the 262 couples from the district, who have been married for 50 years, it was indeed a moment to cherish when the Kudumbashree Mission honoured them at a grand function at Kothamangalam here.
The couples were selected from the 10 panchayats and municipalities. The function was held under the auspices of Snehitha gender help desk. According to Snehitha help desk, most of the complaints they receive pertained to domestic violence and family issues.
The programme-Aadaram 2018- was organised to strengthen family values by honouring couples who have completed 50 years of successful married life.
