Change in trains’ coach composition of Chennai Central Express running to Alappuzha and Thiruvananthapuram

The Railways has announced there will be a change in the coach composition of Chennai Central- Thiruvananthapuram- Chennai Central and Chennai Central - Alappuzha - Chennai Central Express trains.

KOCHI: The Railways has announced there will be a change in the coach composition of Chennai Central- Thiruvananthapuram- Chennai Central and Chennai Central - Alappuzha - Chennai Central Express trains.
One general second class coach will be removed from and one sleeper class coach will be added to these trains.

From July 15, Chennai Central - Thiruvananthapuram Central Express (Train No. 12695) and Chennai Central-Alappuzha Superfast Express (Train No 22639) will operate with one additional sleeper class coach in place of one general second class coach.

From July 16, Thiruvananthapuram Central-Chennai Central Superfast Express (Train No. 12696) and Alappuzha - Chennai Central Superfast Express (Train No 22640) will operate with one additional sleeper class coach in place of one general second class coach. The revised composition of the trains will be AC 2-tier - 2; AC 3-tier - 4; sleeper class - 13; general second class - 2 and luggage-cum-brake van - 2 coaches.
