MUMBAI: While commenting that Prime Minister Modi has started seeing Congress Vice President as a competitor, the Shiv Sena on Wednesday advised its ally BJP that it should welcome Rahul’s mandir visits as it marks the victory of the Hindutva.

The Shiv Sena on Wednesday criticized the BJP rule over Prime Minister Modi’s ‘Aurangzeb Raj’ comment in the editorial of the party mouthpiece Saamana.

The Congress party is in a dilapidated state across the nation and the challenge before them is to find their way out of the thick black fog that the BJP has created around them over past four years. Rahul Gandhi too had been, through is whims, proving the BJP’s propaganda right. However, the BJP’s said storm is likely to fizzle out like the cyclone Ockhi after the Gujarat elections. Rahul Gandhi has emerged as the hero of this election, the editorial said.

“The polls have proved Rahul Gandhi is not a Pappu anymore and the BJP should have a big heart to accept this,” it added.

“The BJP is even angered with Rahul Gandhi visiting temples and praying. On the contrary, it should be welcomed. Rahul Gandhi visiting temples is a win of Hindutva. If he is taking the party towards Hindutva from bogus secularism, the Sangh should welcome it,” the editorial said.

Prime Minister Modi has proved through his ‘Aurangzeb Raj’ remark that he has started considering Rahul Gandhi as an opponent. This shows that Rahul has become an able leader, the editorial said.

The editorial concluded by saying - “The Mughal Reigns were the extremes of cruelty and deceit. Mughal scions put their farther and elders in the family behind bars to grab power. They suppressed several voices to grab the throne. Such rules should not be in any party let alone the Congress. We need to wait and watch.”
