PATHANAMTHITTA: The 97th Ayroor-Cherukolppuzha Hindu Meet, being organised under the aegis of Ayroor-Cherukolppuzha Hindumatha Mahamandalam, will be held on the sandbed of Pampa river at Sri Vidhyadhiraja Nagar from February 1 to 8.

  Addressing a news conference here on Monday, Mahamandalam president T.N. Upendranatha Kurup said that the convention will be inaugurated by Justice Giri of Kerala High Court at 3 p.m. on February 1.

  Swami Chidanandapuri, head of the Kulathoor Advaitha  Ashramam, would preside over the function. Mutt head of Art of Living Srimad Mathruswami would deliver the key-note address.

  Lakshmi  Sankar, MLAs K. Sivadasan Nair and K.C. Rajagopalan would offer felicitations.

 Processions carrying the portrait of  Chattambi Swami would be given a traditional reception under the leadership of T.N. Upendranatha Kurup at 10.30 a.m.

  On February 2, Sanathana Dharma Acharya Samithi general secretary Kuttiyanipurathu Kesavan Nampoothiri would deliver a discourse on Sreemad Bhagavatham at 10.30 a.m.

  Swami Yukthi Chaithanya and Swami Nityananda Saraswathi would deliver discourses at 3 p.m. on February 3.

  On February 4, General Education Secretary Raju Narayanaswamy would inaugurate the Youth Meet at 3 p.m.

  Former Union Minister O.Rajagopal will inaugurate the Hindu Religious Meet at 3 p.m. on February 5.

Kozhikode Chinmaya Mission head Swami Vivithananda Saraswathi would preside over the meet.

Swami Abhayananda Theerthapada, Swami Gnanamritananda, Bharatiya Vichara Kendram director P.Parameswaran and Hindu Aikyavedi general secretary Kummanam Rajasekharan would deliver discourses.

 The ‘Acharya Anusmarana’ meet to be held at 3 p.m. on February 6 would be inaugurated by Union Minister for Non Resident Indian Affairs Vayalar Ravi.

Swami Rithambarananda and  Swami Gaurdadwajananda would deliver discourses.

The women’s meet to be held at 3 p.m. on February 7 would be inaugurated by Poet Sugathakumari.

Kumbalathu Santhakumari would preside over the function.

  The valedictory function of the meet will be inaugurated  by Water Resources Minister N.K. Premachandran at 3 p.m. on February 8.

Swami Bhoomananda Theertha would preside over the function.

Mata Amritanandamayi Math general secretary Swami Poornamritanandapuri would lead the Sarvaiswarya pooja to be held at 7 p.m.
