The convocation of the first batch of MBBS students at Sree Uthradom Thirunal Academy of Medical Sciences, Encaenia 2012, was held at the University Senate Hall.
Principal Joy Philip, A Sampath MP, ISRO former chairman G Madhavan Nair, former head and director, Department of Medicine, Thiruvananthapuram Medical College K V Krishna Das, managing director of SUT group of hospitals Bharath Chandran and G S Pradeep participated.
The graduates from 2006 batch were given their certificates by the guests. The function was followed by cultural programmes by the students.
