The specialist treatment for workers through the ESI Corporation has commenced at the Travancore Medical College and Hospital (Medicity) here, a statement from the hospital said.
The Medicity management and ESI Corporation signed an agreement for providing treatment facilities under the department of Cardiology, Cardiothoracic Surgery, Neurology, Neurosurgery, Urology, Nephrology, Medical & Surgical Gastroenterology and Endocrinology.
The Corporation has tied up with the hospital to provide specialist treatment facilities, which are not available at the hospitals under ESIC, for the beneficiary workers.
A public relations wing has been set up for arranging treatment facilities for patients who reach the hospital with the referral letter of the doctors attached to ESIC hospitals.
