Padmashree winner Dr M Subhadra Nair was felicitated under the aegis of  Bharat Vikas Parishad (BVP),  Thiruvananthapuram branch at a function held at Press Club here the other day.

Former chief secretary C P Nair honoured her with a memento.  Leelamony Amma, former HOD, Mathematics, MG College draped Subhadra Nair with a ‘ponnada.’

Dr R K Raveendran Nair, former superintendent, Mental Hospital, Thiruvananthapuram introduced Subhadra Nair to the audience. BVP Thiruvananthapuram branch president Dr Sundaram presided over.

 Veteran journalist Govindankutty, senior media person  Letha Sreenivasan and BVP national secretary Harihara kumar also felicitated Subhadra Nair.

  Dr Vijayalakshmi, chairperson,  Sandeepani school delivered the welcome address. BVP Thiruvananthapuram   branch secretary P O V Radhadevi proposed the vote of thanks.
