Kudumbashree Tie-up with Livelihood Missions

Kudumbashree Mission entered into MoUs with Rural Livelihood missions of Assam, Karnataka, Jharkhand and Maharashtra in order to replicate activities of Kudumbashree in social, economic and women empowerment in other states and ensure its technical support for the said activities.

Kudumbashree Mission entered into MoUs with Rural Livelihood missions of Assam, Karnataka, Jharkhand and Maharashtra in order to replicate activities of Kudumbashree in social, economic and women empowerment in other states and ensure its technical support for the said activities.

 National Rural Livelihood Mission (NRLM)  has approved Kudumbashree as their national resource organisation to spread their model activities to other states. Following this,  the other states had come forward to associate with Kudumbashree.

 During the function on Monday, Ministry of Rural Development Additional secretary T Vijayakumar, NRLM chief operating officer Santhakumari, Kudumbashree executive director K B Valsalakumari, NRLM former chief operating officer Sarada Muraleedharan, Maharashtra Rural Livelihood Mission chief operating officer Shravan Albiker, Karnataka State Rural Livelihood Mission additional director Shailaja Priyadarshini, Assam Rural Livelihood Mission state programme manager Binay Kumar Dekha and Jharkhand Rural Livelihood Promotion Society chief operating officer Bishnu Pareeda were present.

 At the concluding meeting of the International Conference on Deepening Democracy at Hotel Samudra on Tuesday, the MoUs signed by Minister Jairam Ramesh will be handed over to CM Oommen Chandy. The implementation protocol prepared for the project will be handed over to the states by Minister M K Muneer.
