Rs 2.88 cr Sanctioned

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The Ports Department has sanctioned Rs 2.88 crore for installing Vessel Tracking and Monitoring System (VTMS) at the Kollam and Beypore ports, Fisheries and Ports Minister K Babu said on Thursday.

  The Ports Department has also sanctioned Rs 15 crore for buying a terrain container crane for the Vizhinjam port, the Minister said. The crane will be large enough to handle 40-ft-long cargo containers.
