Cops to Seek Custody of Techie

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM:The Neyyattinkara police will the seek custody of the Bengaluru-based engineer, who allegedly transported drugs in a KSRTC bus from Kochi to Thiruvananthapuram, for further interrogation.

Sudeep Nair, a native of Vellayambalam, was arrested on Sunday when he went to Neyyattinkara bus depot in search of his missing bag. His bag went missing after he boarded another bus at Kollam en route Thiruvananthapuram. Earlier, the police had mistakenly given his name as Sudheesh Nair. Police said Sudeep confessed to the crime during interrogation. “We need to take him into the police custody for further interrogation. It is learnt that he brought drugs for his friends,” said Sreekumar, Neyyattinkara SI.
