THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: A visually impaired student of University College here was roughed up by his collegemates, alleged to be SFI activists, for campaigning for another political party. The victim is S Sajan, 18, a first-year BSc Geography student. Sajan was manhandled by the students inside a classroom in the college. He has been admitted to Medical College Hospital here. The Cantonment police have registered a case in connection with the incident.
