THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Chief Minister Oommen Chandy released a four-page pullout ‘Voice Green’, brought out by ‘The New Indian Express’ in association with Nature’s Green Guardians Foundation, here the other day, by handing over a copy to Tourism Minister A P Anil Kumar. The pullout deals with the impact that a person’s day-to-day life has on Nature.
It is aimed at communicating the importance of Nature in every aspect of human life.
The articles are chosen from the day-to-day affairs of a person and advises optimum use of natural resources. Along with the green initiative, TNIE and Nature’s Green Guardians Foundation are also planning a Campus Green programme in professional colleges for grooming ‘nature-caring, responsible professionals’.
