Vacant Kerala MBBS/BDS Seats to be Filled Through Online Allotment

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The vacant seats in the MBBS/BDS courses after the allotment on September 17 in government medical and dental colleges and three private self-financing medical colleges - DM Wayanad Institute of Medical Sciences, Wayanad, P K Das Institute of  Medical Sciences, Palakkad and Mount Zion Medical College, Pathanamthitta - will be filled through an online allotment which will be published on September 21.

The higher options of students who are already allotted and admitted in the self-financing medical/dental colleges, except the above three colleges, shall be deleted and they will not be considered for this vacancy-filling phase of allotment as per the various government orders relating to fees and admission of students in self-financing medical and dental colleges.

The otherwise eligible candidates who want their higher order options to be considered in this vacancy-filling phase of allotment shall have to login to their home page and confirm their options by clicking the ‘confirm’ button available therein.

After online option confirmation, the candidates can re-arrange/delete their higher order options from 8 pm on September 20 to 3 pm on September 21 through the website www.cee.kerala.gov.in .

On the basis of the options received up to 3 pm on September 21, the vacancy-filling phase of allotment to MBBS/BDS will be published in the evening on the same day. Candidates who receive allotment shall have to take printouts of their allotment memo and remit the fee/ balance fee payable to the CEE, in one of the designated branches of the State Bank of Travancore (SBT) on September 22 or 23.

The list of designated branches of SBT is available on the website. After remitting the fee/balance fee in any of the designated branches of SBT, the candidates should join the course/college before 5 pm on September 23. Those who do not confirm their options online will not be considered for this phase of allotment.

This will be the last phase of allotment to the three private self-financing medical colleges - DM Wayanad Institute of Medical Sciences, Wayanad, P K Das Institute of Medical Sciences, Palakkad, and Mount Zion Medical College, Pathanamthitta. Hence the candidates who get allotments should invariably join the colleges.
