THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Health Minister V S Sivakumar said that a clinic for Alzheimer’s disease will be opened at the Medical College here this month itself.
He said the decision has been in the wake of the increasing cases of Alzheimer’s disease in the state.
The clinic will be under the Neurology department. He said this while inaugurating a Memory Walk organised by the Alzheimers and related Disorders Society of India.
PRS group managing director R Murukan, T K Radhamani, George Mathew, D Kuttapan and P Sreekanth P Krishnan were among others who participated in the walk.
