As part of bringing marginalised sections to the mainstream, indigenous art forms will be presented by tribal people from Kottur, Amboori and Palode on the occasion. A torch rally will also be held during the inaugural session.

The torches will be lit from the houses of differently-abled children. The rally will start at 2 pm in front of the Fort Police station. Aerobics performance by differently-abled children and band performance by autistic children will be held at Manacaud Girls Higher Secondary School to mark the day. CODAC will also arrange library facilities in the homes of 212 differently-abled children who pursue education from their homes.
