THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: In yet another reshuffle in the Police Department, the state government has transferred 29 DySPs and promoted 35 Circle-Inspectors.
As per the order issued by Home Department Monday, DySPs in the sub-divisions of Chalakkudy, Thrissur, Vaikom, Thaliparamba, Thodupuzha, Neyyattinkara and Pathanamthitta have been transferred and assigned new posts.
Neyyattinkara DySP Sulfikkar has been transferred and appointed Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP) of Thiruvananthapuram City Traffic, South Division. B Harikumar has been appointed the DySP of Neyyattinkara. S R Jyothish Kumar, who served as the ACP, Traffic South, Thiruvananthapuram City, has been transferred and appointed DySP of the Special Branch, Alappuzha.
S Anilkumar has been posted as the ACP, Traffic North, Thiruvananthapuram City, while Sheen Tharayil has been transferred as the DySP of District Crimes Records Bureau in Ernakulam Rural.
T Mohanan Nair, who was the ACP of Traffic North, Thiruvananthapuram City, has been transferred and appointed the DySP of Thiruvananthapuram Rural Administration. Ujwal Kumar has been appointed the ACP of Economic Offences Wing (EOW), Crime Branch, Thiruvananthapuram.
