THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: BJP state general secretary M T Ramesh said the state is witnessing an administrative standstill. Inaugurating a Yuva Morcha march to the PSC office here against an undeclared ban on recruitment, he said the Chief Minister had no time to address the people’s problems.

He said the government, which was duty bound to ensure the job opportunities of the youth, were destroying their job prospects. It is cruelty from the part of the government towards the youngsters in the state, he said.

Yuva Morcha district president J R Anuraj presided over the meeting while state treasurer R S Sampath and vice president Ranjith Chandran spoke. The police trained water cannon on the Yuva Morcha workers thrice when they tried to breach the barricade erected in front of the PSC office.
