THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The common entrance examination (CEE 2018) for candidates who have cleared the physical and medical tests of army recruitment will be held at the Colachal Stadium, Pangode near here on July 29.

A record 1,400 candidates will be appearing for the exam, army officers said. The district administration is assisting army recruiting authorities for a smooth and incident-free conduct of the exam. The candidates have been asked to report to the CEE site as per the guidelines given on the admit card for biometric verification.

Meanwhile, the army has also warned candidates to be wary of touts who promise to get them recruited. ‘’Do not pay money to any individual/institute/organisation/agent/tout, who claim they can help you get recruited. Such claims are false. They do not have any role and influence in recruitment,” the army said in a statement. The recruitment process is fair, transparent and fully automated, it added. The army has also warned candidates not to handover their original certificates to such agents.

Para Regiment
The army is also looking for candidates for its elite Para Regiment. Volunteer candidates who have scored 100 per cent mark in physical test and 50 per cent mark in the written test will be screened by a team after the CEE results are declared.
