Kerala Government calls for Padma nominations

THE State Government has called for Padma award nominations to be submitted through it.

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The State Government has called for Padma award nominations to be submitted through it. The state had recently formed a Cabinet sub-committee chaired by Cultural Affairs Minister A K Balan to submit the official recommendations for the prestigious awards.

Revenue Minister E Chandrasekharan, Ports Minister Kadannappally Ramachandran, Transport Minister A K Saseendran and Water Resources Minister Mathew T Thomas are other members. Those interested can submit the nominations to the Cabinet sub-committee through the Chief Secretary by July 31.
