Science exhibition in Vijayawada attracts all and sundry

VIJAYAWADA: Hundreds of youth and school children visited the 57th Gora Science Exhibition at Atheist Centre in Benz Circle. Charts and working models demonstrating principles of various branches of science were put on display at the three day museum which concluded on Thursday. Medical exhibits comprising  parts of the human body and also a dissected full body, exhibited by Pinnamaneni Siddhartha Medical College and Vasavya Nursing Home, was a major crowd-puller.

A scientific sample displaying the procedure how cigarette smoking leaves smoke deposits on the lungs created ripples among students. Institutions like Siddhartha Engineering College and Potti Sriramulu Engineering College displayed samples on environment, energy conservation, canal top solar plant, hydrogen power, energy saving solutions, solar bottle bulb, in-vitro fertilization, rainwater harvesting and industrious termites.
