VIJAYAWADA: The 27th annual award of Dr Pinnamaneni and Smt Seetha Devi Foundation will be presented to Dr. Tessy Thomas, the director of Advanced Systems Laboratory (ASC) who earned the moniker ‘Missile Woman of India’, at a programme to be organised in Vijayawada on December 16.
Addressing the mediapersons in Vijayawada on Wednesday, managing trustee of the foundation C Nageswara Rao said Grama Pragathi Puraskaram will be awarded to Dr. D R K Prasad and Dr. Padmavathi for Swachh Bharat’s success at Challapalli.“Since the Foundation was established in 1989, every year, a renowned personality in the country is presented the annual award,” he explained.
