In a bid to reduce the rate of accidents involving RTC buses, APSRTC officials have entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with New Delhi-based World Resources Institute.

VIJAYAWADA: In a bid to reduce the rate of accidents involving RTC buses, APSRTC officials have entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with New Delhi-based World Resources Institute of India Private Limited (WRII) at RTC House here recently. 

When contacted, APSRTC Executive Director (Operations) G Jaya Rao said that the WRII will conduct a comprehensive survey on the accidents involving RTC buses over the years and evolve measures to reduce the accident rate. Special sessions on measures to be taken to prevent accidents will be held for drivers and staff for improving the quality of services offered by RTC, he said.
