VIJAYAWADA: Krishna district collector B Lakshmikantham inaugurated India International Travel Exhibition (IITE), India’s premiere travel & tourism exhibition at Vedika Function Hall, Benz Circle, Vijayawada on Friday.The expo showcases the best in tourism, railways, hospitality and other related industries. The three day travel exhibition will focus on international & domestic tourist destinations, hotels and other allied services.
AP Tourism has partnered with the tourism providers of other States. Travel agents like SOTC, Cox & kings, Riya Travels, DOT Holidays, Namaste Tours, Southern Travels etc and hotels and resorts from different parts of country are up with their offers in the exhibition.
“The basic purpose of holding this event is to boost both domestic and international tourism, where visitors can inquire the best packages for their favorite tourist destinations. We believe that the inflow of domestic and outbound tourists will increase in coming months and Vijayawada will play a vital role in promotion of tourism,” ,” said Anurag Gupta, Director of IITE.
