Dr Dangs proposes lab in Amaravati

New Delhi-based Dr Dangs Lab evinced interest to set up a pathology lab and a skill centre in Amaravati.

VIJAYAWADA:  New Delhi-based Dr Dangs Lab evinced interest to set up a pathology lab and a skill centre in Amaravati. The management submitted a proposal for the same to Andhra Pradesh Capital Region Development Authority (APCRDA) on Saturday.

According to a press release from the APCRDA, lab director Dr Navin Dang met commissioner Cherukuri Sreedhar and shared the plan to set up a diagnostic centre and a lab. “The management said that it was willing to set up a high-end comprehensive pathology lab with an investment of `30 crore, which would create 150 jobs.

It also explained the services and research the lab is into and submitted the project report of the facility proposed in Amaravati,” the press release read. Besides a lab, the management also said a Research & Development (R&D) centre would be established. Through the R&D centre, the lab proposed to train the locals in pathological services.
