VIJAYAWADA: TDP MLC and Government Whip Buddha Venkanna alleged that BJP MLC Somu Veerraju colluded with Opposition leader YS Jagan Mohan Reddy to project the state government in a bad light.Reacting to remarks made by the BJP leader, Venkanna said at a press conference on Friday that Veerraju was reading the script given by Jagan. “While Somu Veeraju is behaving like YSRC agent, Jagan is working as the Centre’s covert in Andhra Pradesh. Veerraju should come out of Jagan’s team,” he fumed.
Referring to BJP leader going to public with newspaper clippings of N Chandrababu Naidu to accuse him (CM) of flip flop on SCS, Venkanna said Veeraju should also make public the video clippings of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Tirupati visit, which, he said, would provide undeniable proof of Special Category Status (SCS) promised by him. “Chandrababu Naidu is a person who sacrificed the post of Prime Minister. The interests of the people of the state are TDP’s priority, but not positions,” he said.
