Andhra Pradesh YSRC president YS Jaganmohan Reddy appears before special CBI court

Arguments took place in the discharge petition filed by Jagati Publications in the Vanpic assets case. 

HYDERABAD: Taking a day’s break from his ongoing “Praja Sankalpa Yatra” in Andhra Pradesh, YSRC president YS Jaganmohan Reddy on Friday appeared before the Special CBI Court, Hyderabad dealing with the illegal assets case against him. Former Karnataka minister and mining baron Gali Janardhan Reddy, BV Srinivasa Reddy, Ali Khan and other accused also appeared before the court in the illegal mining case.

In the illegal assets case, apart from prime accused Jagan, accused number two (A2) and Rajya Sabha member V Vijayasai Reddy and other accused who included MP YV Subha Reddy, Penna Pratap Reddy, Shyam Prasad Reddy, Ayodhya Rami Reddy, former minister P Sabita Indra Reddy, IAS officers Manmohan Singh, Sri Lakshmi, A Venkatarami Reddy, former mining director VD Rajagopal, former IAS officer Samuel and others also appeared before the court.

Arguments took place in the discharge petition filed by Jagati Publications in the Vanpic assets case.
 The court posted the matter to July for further hearing. Jagan and other accused stayed in the court throughout the day.
