VIJAYAWADA: The Vijayawada unit of Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) organised a city-wide bandh on Friday as a protest against the State government for ‘failing to keep the promise of free education’ for students of kindergarten (KG) to post graduation (PG).
According to a press release, the ABVP members, led by their state general secretary Hari Krishna, got the classes at 80 junior colleges suspended, eliciting support to the bandh.
