Andhra Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation employees’ union seeks hike in salary

VIJAYAWADA: Andhra Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation (APSRTC) officials and employee union leaders met pay revision committee members seeking hike in salaries of corporation employees on Friday at the RTC house.

During the meeting, representatives of Employees Union (EU) submitted a proposal, mentioning 91 issues being faced by workers, to the pay revision committee members. The pay revision committee includes Managing Director and Vice-Chairman of APSRTC Surendra Babu, Executive Director A Koteswara Rao, and Employees Union in-charge General Secretary Valisetty Damodhar Rao and others.

The next meeting was scheduled for November 8. “We have submitted to the pay revision committee a proposal mentioning 91 problems that the workers face. They will examine it and we will discuss it in the next meeting,” said Valisetty Damodar Rao.
