VIJAYAWADA: Unable to clear his debts due to the losses incurred during the Kharif season, a farmer from Gani Atkuru village of Kanchikacherla mandal committed suicide by consuming pesticide on Saturday. According to Kanchikacherla police, the incident took place on the early hours of the day and the deceased was identified as Kodali Kondala Rao (40). The police said Kondala Rao had five acres of farming land.
