Natakotsavam evokes good response

The audience thoroughly enjoyed the plays with a social message, said Ayachitula Ramakrishna.

VIJAYAWADA: The three-day Natakotsavam organised by the AP Nataka Academy and Ayachitula Cultural and Welfare Association ended on a grand note here on Sunday with plays such as ‘Guruvinda  Ginjalu’ and ‘Kalupu Mokkalu’ engaging the audience with their message on social responsibility.

Nataka Academy Chairman Gummadi Gopalakrishna, noted playwrights Rama  Rao, Narayana Rao, Sukamanchi Koteswara Rao, Jonnavithula Ramakrishna and Ayachitula Ramakrishna, and senior actor KU Krishna Rao expressed their happiness over the tremendous response from people to the Natakotsavam. 

The event attracted about 250-300 people every day. The  plays which evoked a good response from the audience included ‘Vayyaribhama  Kayyalakama’ and ‘Vaseekaranam’. The audience thoroughly enjoyed the plays with a social message, said Ayachitula Ramakrishna.
