Over 200 upper kindergarten students of St John’s Public School in Medavakkam were presented with KG Convocation Certificate recently. Dressed in school uniforms and clad in their special convocation gowns the children were presented with their convocation certificates. The students also had a photo session with their heads, class teachers, associate class teacher and the guest of honour for the day

Greenwood High Students Win Spell Bee Competition

Greenwood High students Mysha Amirah and Aryan Manuj of Grade 3 have bagged the first and the third place respectively in Category 1 of the Eighth International Championship of the MaRRS International Spelling Bee competition held at Mumbai. Mysha won a scholarship of USD $.4,444 while Aryan won a scholarship of USD $1,111. The MaRRS International Spelling Bee is currently the largest English Spelling Competition in the world in terms of scope and participation. The Championship saw participation from over 600 children, studying in Class 1-12 from various schools across India, UAE and Kuwait.

Maritime India Summit Held in Mumbai

The Indian Maritime University, the premier Central University for maritime education, training and research, signed 4 MOUs on this occasion with the premier Universities including Plymouth University, Plymouth, UK, Admiral GI Nevelskoi Maritime State University, Vladivostok, Russia in the presence of Nitin Gadkari, Union Minister of Shipping, Road Transport and Highways

College Day at Easwari Engineering College

The college day and sports day function was celebrated at Easwari Engineering College. The function was presided over by Dr K Srinivasan, Principal of the college. The principal read out the annual report and delivered the presidential address during which, he said that Easwari Engineering College was ranked fourth by Anna University among all the colleges in Tamil Nadu and was ranked 94th in all India ranking. The Chief Guest of the function was Dr S Ganesan, Registrar, Anna University, Chennai. Certificates were distributed to Teaching and Non Teaching Staff.
