It’s that time of the year again for students of IMI, New Delhi as they gear up for their annual management and cultural fest, Kritva 16’. Started in the year 2005, Kritva aims to promote a spirit of competition, providing students an opportunity to hone their managerial skills. The fest’s magnitude has been increasing every year with some of the top B-schools in the country taking part. “This year’s theme ‘Breaking the Stereotype’ aims to encourage students to fight against all prejudices, especially in India which has always been burdened with stereotypes and myths,” says Yuvraj Singh, one of the organisers.

The three-day fest will include battle of bands, a fashion show, treasure hunts, stock simulation games, management quiz, and different management related events. This year, the organisers have introduced an IPL bidding competition where nine teams can step into the shoes of IPL bidders in a simulated IPL auction process. The judges will analyse the bidding strategies to select the winner. The various clubs of the institute will also host events such as Arthneeti, Fin-charades, Samadhan, Expressions, Willocity and more.
