Graduating to success

Indian School of Business and Finance, an affiliate centre of University of London, organised its Graduation Day Ceremony to award the degree to the students of undergraduate batch of 2014-15 and 2015- 2016 and for the diploma graduate batch of 2015-2016 at India International Centre. The chief guest in the programme was John Ferrá, Deputy Director, University of London International Programs and the guest of honour was Joanne Harris, the Associate Director for Student Experience, University of London, International Academy. The Founder and  Director of ISBF Jitin Chadha was also present at the programme.                         ..

Rise India centre inaugurated

The first centre of Rise India, a strategic Investment and skill development organisation at Chhapra was inaugurated by Nitin Gadkari, Honourable Minister for Road Transport and Highways and Shipping and Rajiv Pratap Rudy, Honourable Minister of State for Skill Development and Entrepreneurship. Alongside, leaders and stakeholders of the industry were present.

Centre for India Australia studies inaugurated

Her Excellency Harinder Sidhu, Australian High Commissioner to India, inaugurated the Centre for India Australia Studies at the OP Jindal Global University (JGU). The High Commissioner visited the university to deliver a distinguished public lecture on ‘The Importance of India – Australia Relations’, a forum organised by the Centre for India Australia Studies (CIAS) at the university campus in Sonipat, Haryana. The CIAS will work to enhance the understanding of the common values and vibrant diversities of India and Australia and promote growth of the bilateral relationship.

NSS Training held
 A five-day training programme for the NSS officers of Bharathidasan University was orgranised by the STET Women’s College in collaboration with Department of Gender Studies, Rajiv Gandhi National Institute of Youth Development, Sriperumbudur.

Kalam’s birthday celebrated

MBA students of Tambaram Eva Stalin Business School celebrated the birthday of former President Dr APJ Abdul Kalam by planting tree saplings and cleaning of park in Sembakkam Municipality on October 15.

An NSS unit and Rotract of SA Engineering College organised a tree plantation drive at Perumalpattu village on remembrance of Dr APJ Abdul Kalam on his birthday on October 15. The principal, Dr PK Nagarajan, delivered the welcome address and Dr D Dasrathan, Secretary felicitated the occasion.

State level seminar at Shanmuga College

Shanmuga Industries Arts and Science College, Tiruvannamalai, Department of Biochemistry organised a state-level seminar Bioshan’16 in the college premises. Dr Suresh Kannan, Asst Professor Department of Biosciences of Sri Ramachandra University, Chennai was the chief guest.
