MORENA: Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) leader Ramprakash Rajoria today left his party and joined the Aam Admi Party (AAP).

He was today inducted into the AAP by Delhi minister Gopal Rai. The BSP had initially declared Mr Rajoria as party candidate for coming to Madhya Pradesh assembly elections. However, the party later replaced him and announced Mr Balveer Dandotiya as its candidate.

Mr Rajoria was the BSP candidate in the previous assembly elections. He was defeated by Bharatiya Janata Party nominee Rustam Singh by a slender margin of 1,704 votes. He had secured 55,040 votes.

The AAP has announced to field Mr Rajoria as its candidate from Morena.

Earlier today AAP demanded President's rule in Goa alleging the BJP government of failing to generate revenue and possibility of ending into a debt trap. In a press conference, AAP Goa Convenor Elvis Gomes said, "The government has done away with 25 per cent expenditure. This shows that they are not in a position to garner revenue."
