Congress may face revolt in Medak district

SANGAREDDY: Political observers predict trouble in Medak, Narayankhed, Patancheru and Dubbak constituencies, caused by the latest leak of information about potential choice of candidates. Patancheru’s scenario changed after the arrival of four TRS leaders brought on the condition of being given at least one ticket. Soon former MLA Nandishwar Rao left BJP to join TDP, seeks Patancheru ticket.

However, Congress leaders assert a strong base in Patancheru. Political observers believe that if Patancheru ticket is allotted to TDP, there is a possibility of Congress aspirants revolting. In Narayankhed, group politics between former MP Suresh Shetkar and the other by late MLA P Kistareddy’s son Sanjeev Reddy create trouble. In Dubbak, former MLA Muthyam Reddy is sure to revolt if not given a ticket. While in Medak, local leaders are opposing film actress Vijayashanti’s candidature.
