HYDERABAD: TRS president K Chandrasekhar Rao will start his vigorous election campaign on Sunday by meeting party candidates at Telangana Bhavan. All the 107 candidates whose names have been announced have been asked to attend the meeting.  He will issue B-forms to them at the meeting, as the filing of nominations for the assembly elections will begin from Monday. Later, he will have a thorough discussion with the candidates on the third leg of their election campaign.  TRS candidates have already toured their respective Assembly segments twice so far.

“I have already toured my segments twice. I am now waiting to start my third leg of election tour once the Grand Alliance candidates are announced,” a TRS candidate said.  According to sources, Rao would explain the latest surveys done by various organisations to the party candidates and infuse confidence into them that the TRS would retain power with a huge majority.

According to sources, Rao has invited all the  107 candidates to take B-forms, which means that there will be no change of candidates at the moment. There have been rumours that Rao may drop some candidates, whose names have already been announced. But, Rao and KTR have dismissed them.

GAJWEL MEET:  Rao will also formally launch his election campaign in Gajwel on Sunday itself.  According to sources, he will  interact with around 15,000 TRS activists  from Gajwel at his farm house in Erravalli from 12 noon to 3 p.m.

At the three-hour long meeting, Rao is likely to explain the development in the segment in the last four years and his plans to develop the constituency further.  Rao is contesting for the second time from Gajwel constituency.   TRS leader T Harish Rao has been campaigning in Gajwel for the past few days.
