Shiv Sena releases first list of 28 candidates for Telangana elections 2018

HYDERABAD: After a dull entry in the 2014 elections where they contested from eight Assembly constituencies, the Shiv Sena party in Telangana released their first list of 28 contesting candidates in the 2018 Telangana Assembly elections. 

The 28 candidates will be filing for nomination on Tuesday.  Shiv Sena Telangana State President T.N Murari said “We’re expecting to win nearly 10 seats this time. Our voter turnout is also expected to be about 5-6 lakh.” 

Several Shiv Sena leaders including Chief Uddhav Thackeray, Yuva Sena President Aditya Thackeray are expected to tour the state for election campaigns. Following the steps of the UP government, the party looks to include building of the Ram Mandir in its manifesto.
