KARIMNAGAR: What’s a day without a dose of #NotAllMen, #MensRights, #HimToo, or a combination of all three! Bharya Baditula Sangam (Victims of Wives) president Bandi Srinivas has filed his nomination as an independent candidate in Karimnagar Assembly constituency on November 14.

Bandi Srinivas, the self-proclaimed champion of ‘poor husbands’, had formed the Sangam after his wife had allegedly made him ‘suffer’ in their marriage.

Speaking to reporters, he said that several husbands have been leading miserable lives due to their wives filing false domestic abuse cases against them and that the Sangam intended to fight for them.
“The law is unfair to men. There must be a National Commission for Men so that they can also report their grievances,” he said. He demanded that women who file false lawsuits against the practice of dowry must also be punished.

Meanwhile, Musuku Mahender Reddy, president of ASI Mohan Reddy Baditula Sangam (Victim’s Association) had also filed a nomination in Karimnagar on the same day. “No political leader has addressed the injustices meted out to us by ASI Mohan Reddy. If I win the elections, I will make sure they get justice,” he said.
