Revanth is lying, we are not going to defect: TRS MPs

The other leader Azmeera Seetaram Naik held a press meeting to refute any report claiming his resignation from the party.

HYDERABAD: On Thursday, two leaders of Telangana Rashtra Samiti party, who , according to TPCC working president Revanth Reddy, were allegedly leaving their party to join Congress, dismissed all the reports claiming this. 

“There are several messages on social media indicating I have submit my resignation to the TRS today. I have not submitted any resignations or any other letter. Further, there was a news article yesterday in one section of electronic media mentioning that I was planning to do so. I have not made any statements and have been misquoted,” said one of the leaders, Vishweshwar Reddy in a statement on Thursday.

Reddy also met senior TRS leader, KT Rama Rao on the same day and clarified his continuation in TRS. The other leader Azmeera Seetaram Naik held a press meeting to refute any report claiming his resignation from the party.

According to Revanth Reddy, the two TRS MPs were going to leave the party and join Congress. However, on Thursday,  Seetaram Naik said that the people were not going to believe in Revanth’s “cheap tricks”.
