No support from Alliance, TDP’s Prakash stands alone

Meanwhile, Reddy also said that efforts are being made to pacify rebel leader, Rajender Reddy and convince him not to enter fray in the constituency.

WARANGAL: Under the seat sharing agreement, TDP politburo member Revuri Prakash Reddy was allotted the Warangal West ticket, but there seems to be no support for him from the leaders and cadre of other Grand Alliance partners.

The TDP leader launched his campaign on Thursday and started visiting different areas of the constituency. While his party’s leaders and cadre have been accompanying him during his campaign tours, those from Congress, CPI and Telangana Jana Samithi (TJS) have completely ignored him so far.
However, Prakash Reddy is optimistic that alliance partners will extend their support as the campaign picks. “As of now I am campaigning with my party cadres. But I am hopeful that soon our alliance partners will join me,” he told reporters here on Friday.

Meanwhile, Reddy also said that efforts are being made to pacify rebel leader, Rajender Reddy and convince him not to enter fray in the constituency.
