HYDERABAD: Besides BJP national president Amit Shah, a power-packed electioneering is set to commence in the poll-bound State by the State BJP. As many as 40-star campaigners which include union ministers, chief ministers, and film personalities will be speaking at various rallies and public meetings to turn the voter mood towards their side.

Twenty union ministers including Home Minister Rajnath Singh, Finance Minister Arun Jaitley, External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj, Law Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad, and Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari are set to campaign in the State.

While the campaigning schedule for the fleet of campaigners has not been disclosed yet, Shah will hold a three-day campaign prior to that.

“We have written to the Central BJP committee to allow star campaigners to the State and twenty union ministers have been finalised.

A total of 40-star campaigners will enter the electioneering,” informed Secunderabad MP and senior BJP leader Bandaru Dattatreya.

The BJP party has a unique style to itself in having so many union leaders to address public meetings, observed Dattatreya. Interestingly, film actor Hema Malini has also been named as star campaigner.
