Actress Ellen Pompeo has signed a new "Grey's Anatomy" deal, which is worth over USD 300,000 per episode.

LOS ANGELES: Actress Ellen Pompeo has signed a new "Grey's Anatomy" deal, which is worth over USD 300,000 per episode. 

The 46-year-old actress will return to play Dr Meredith Grey in the 13th season of the medical drama, signing a new contract after hers ran out at the end of the 12th series, reported Deadline. 

A number of cast members were also out of contract at the end of season 12 with Justin Chambers and Jessica Capshaw previously stating their intention to sign up for more while Chandra Wilson, James Pickens Jr, and Kevin McKidd are all tipped to return.
